This agency approached Eloquent Systems in the spring looking for a way to get their Library Holdings more exposure via their Web Site and create a true Virtual Library.

A decision was made by the Institute to use Eloquent’s Librarian Software with its integrated OPAC feature which allows full search of all holdings via their web site.

The system organizes and manages the Library holdings plus allows their patrons to search and order books on-line.

Eloquents’ integrated library system (ILS) has all of the functions required to manage a sophisticated library.

The BC Centre for Safe Schools and Communities maintains an extensive resource catalogue of print and video resources in a variety of topic areas including:

• Bullying Prevention
• Youth Violence
• Legal Issues
• Conflict Resolution
• At-Risk Youth
• Substance Abuse
• Inclusive Education

All can be searched via the Eloquent search tool on the ISS web site.
