In the fall of 2007 Eloquent will release the Reference Services Module in response to demands by several Eloquent Archives customers. Their archival holdings are now available to anyone on the Internet and are generating a demand for a variety of services ranging from research assistance to copying and delivering documents.

The administration costs for providing these services can easily be recovered by service fees. The new Reference Services Module will streamline the process of recording these services and collecting the fees. This Web-based application enables the researcher to do much of the detail work themselves.

The module is being developed in collaboration with three customers that represent very prestigious repositories. The final product will be very comprehensive and easy to custom tailor. Eloquent Archives Reference Services Module will be available to all existing Eloquent customers as well as new customers as an easy plug it into the Archives System.
