RG95-002. Vanni Buscemi Montana Collection, 1925- 1991.
This collection contains a portion of Vanni Buscemi Montana's papers for the years he worked as publicist for Local 89 of the International Ladies' Garment Workers' Union and the Italian American Labor Council, and as editor of Giustizia (ILGWU) and Sindacalismo Libero (AFL-CIO). The collection documents Montana's activities as an Italian-American labor leader and socialist who had a keen interest in Italian labor and politics.

RG95-003. Virginia Tehas Oral Interview.
This collection consists of a series of interviews with Virginia Tehas in 1996. The interviews are open-ended, loosely-structured, and reflective, with the overriding objective of allowing Tehas to choreograph a memoir not only on the worklife of George Meany, but also on her service as Meany's secretary and confidential assistant for more than four decades.

RG95-004. Trades Union Congress Papers, 1942-1943.
This collection consists of materials from a visit to U.S. and Canadian shipyards by a group elected by members of British shipbuilding unions. The group made the trip to study American methods of ship construction which could be of assistance to Great Britain's wartime shipbuilding industry.

RG95-005. United Labor Policy Committee, 1950-1951.
This collection consists of records of the United Labor Policy Committee, organized in 1950 and comprised of representatives from the AFL, CIO, International Association of Machinists, and the Railway Labor Executives' Association. Its aim was to develop policy on issues that affected labor, particularly its participation in defense and mobilization programs.

RG95-006. William Baillie Baird Papers, 1886-1927.
This collection consists of 38 items, mainly correspondence, pertaining to William Baillie Baird's commission as organizer for the Knights of Labor, 1897-1898, and his interest in promoting Robert W. Price as the founder of Labor Day, 1925-1927.

RG95-007. Private Donations. Lane Kirkland Papers, 1863-1998.
This collection comprises the personal papers of Joseph Lane Kirkland, president of the AFL-CIO from 1979 to 1995, which he donated to the archives. It is especially rich in documenting his official activities as seen in the popular press and his wide-ranging domestic and international social and political contacts. Also of interest are papers pertaining to his family's history in South Carolina and elsewhere; some of the early activities in his life, including his maritime and wartime years; an extensive array of artifacts; and numerous photographs.

RG95-008. Larry Rogin Papers, 1926-1988.
This collection consists of records created and collected by Larry Rogin during the course of his career as a labor educator within the American labor movement. The collection offers valuable material for researchers interested in the history of the workers' education movement. The bulk of the collection contains research material used by Rogin in creating his class lectures and course outlines.
