WebGENCAT Server Modules

These additional WebGENCAT
Server modules allow you to extend the functionality of your
Eloquent application. These modules are installed at the server
level and apply to all of your Eloquent applications. |
Read/Write Clients:
You can be licensed for any number of concurrent Intranet/Internet
users. This number can be expanded at any time. No additional software
is required.
Unlimited Read-only License:
With this license, there is no restriction to the number of public
users that may concurrently access your system in read-only mode.
Application Servers:
Additional application servers may be purchased to support
additional systems or improve the performance of existing ones.
Branch Control Module:
WebGENCAT's Branch Control Module seamlessly integrates the data
of several institutions into a single, unified system. This provides
a central point for administration and access. This integration
helps institutions pool their human and monetary resources by using
one system instead of many.
The Branch Control Module gives central control over some functions
and local autonomy over others. Clients can be given full, read-only,
or no access to data from other branches. Authorized terms are controlled
centrally and shared across all branches to prevent duplication.
Searches may be restricted to a single branch, or may span the entire
collection.
Multi-Language Module:
Support to concurrent users in separate languages is supported with
the WebGENCAT Multi-Language Module. Both the user interface and
data are presented in the language of the user's choice. Each record
may contain an unlimited number of translations. Any component not
translated will be presented to the client in English, which is
the default language.
Translator Module:
The WebGENCAT Translator Module allows you to translate the user
interface into English or any other language. Prompts, labels and
help text can be redefined without extensive knowledge of WebGENCAT.
